We provide the sunlight that the saffron plant needs for photosynthesis and growth through LED lighting systems. Thanks to advancements in LED technology, energy consumption is kept to a minimum, and light control is managed with precision. This method not only supports the healthy growth of the plant but also offers a sustainable agricultural practice.

Water

Humidity control in enclosed environments helps to keep water needs at a minimum. Water consumption is approximately 95% lower compared to production in open areas. This method ensures more efficient use of water resources and constitutes an important part of sustainable agricultural practices.

Food

In closed soil-less vertical farming, plants meet their nutritional needs independently of their natural environments. In this system, plants are fed with specialized nutrient solutions that contain all necessary macro and micronutrients. These nutrient solutions are delivered directly to the roots, providing an optimal environment for growth. Environmental factors such as humidity, temperature, and light in the closed environment are also precisely controlled to ensure that plants grow healthily and productively.

This method offers numerous environmental advantages compared to traditional agriculture. Water resources are utilized more efficiently, significantly reducing water consumption. Additionally, the controlled nutrient solutions used in closed systems minimize the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers, preventing soil and water pollution. Conducting vertical farming in a closed environment reduces carbon emissions and provides a more sustainable agricultural practice. As a result, plants receive healthier nutrition while the negative impacts on the environment are kept to a minimum.
